
On November 15, 2024, the Albanian Council for Technology and Innovation (ACTI) was officially launched during an inspiring event held in Tirana. Over 350 professionals from diverse fields such as IT, cybersecurity, academia, business, and civil society gathered to celebrate this historic moment, marking a new chapter for the technology and innovation ecosystem in Albania.
During this event, the first internal meeting of ACTI was held, where its mission to create a trusted and unified platform for professionals was unveiled. The founding members symbolically signed the founding act, reinforcing ACTI’s role in fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and adopting advanced practices in IT standards, digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, education, and innovation.
Ermal Beqiri, a representative of Soft & Solution, was elected as the first Chair of the Albanian Council for Technology and Innovation (ACTI), while the other founding board members include: Andis Papa – Fastech shpk, Enea Buza – HardTech AL, Gentian Likaj – Communication Progress, Igli Gjelishti – dev.al, Gjergji Mulla – Helius Systems, Gezim Hoxha – FIRST Cyber Security & Engineering Solutions, and Enor Nakuçi – Kreatx.
